PROJECT STREAM TERMS OF SERVICE

Applicable Terms. Welcome to Project Stream, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google", "we" or "us"), located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. Your use of Project Stream and the video game(s) available through it is subject to these Project Stream Terms of Service in addition to the Google Terms of Service ("Google ToS") (together referred to as the "Terms"). Project Stream is a "Service" as described in the Google ToS. If there is any conflict between the Project Stream Terms of Service and the Google ToS, the Project Stream Terms of Service shall prevail.

Access to and Use of Content.  If you have a valid redemption code, you may access and play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (the “Game”) through Project Stream in accordance with the Terms. Project Stream is provided solely for your personal and non-commercial use. To access the Game, you will need a Google account, a computer capable of running Chrome Browser version 69 or later, an Internet connection that passes the Project Stream playability test, and a supported controller or mouse and keyboard. You may also need to register for an account with Ubisoft Inc. (the “Publisher”). You must be a U.S. resident age 17 or older to access Project Stream. Project Stream will not be accessible from outside the United States. 

Third-party Content and Services. The Game is licensed to you by the Publisher, and any content or services made available to you through the Game, including any virtual currency or credits made available for the Game, are provided to you by the Publisher. Access to and use of the Game may require you to accept the Publisher’s separate terms and conditions and privacy policy. The Publisher, and not Google, is responsible for the Game, including the Game content.

Free Content. Subject to the terms, your access and use of Project Stream and the Game is free of charge. The Publisher may provide you with free credits which you may use for in-game transactions, subject to any Publisher terms. Some features of the Game may be limited or unavailable during your use of Project Stream.  For example, you will not be able to make purchases for in-game content or in-game items other than with the free credits, if any, with which you have been provided. Additionally, we may limit the number of people who can play the Game through Project Stream at any one time.

Third-Party Fees. You are responsible for any access fees, data fees, or overage fees incurred from third parties (such as your Internet provider) in connection with your use of the Game and Project Stream.

Termination. Google may terminate your access to Project Stream and the Game at any time. If not earlier terminated, your access to Project Stream will automatically terminate on the expiration date specified in your invitation e-mail.  Unless Google notifies otherwise during your access period, you will lose your game progress, game saves, in-game achievements, any in-game items you obtained, and any unused in-game credits or currency upon termination. 

Information about You. Google's privacy policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when using Project Stream. Additionally, when you access Project Stream we make certain data available to the Publisher to support gameplay, resolve crash and game performance issues, and facilitate customer support..  This information may include: a unique identifier that is assigned to you when you initially access Project Stream; game saves; data about your in-game activity; and data about the Game’s performance on our service, including crash reports.  The Publisher, and not Google, is solely responsible for its processing of the data that it collects through Project Stream and has agreed to use this information in accordance with its privacy policy.

Restrictions. You may not:

  • display (in part or in whole) Project Stream or the Game as part of any public performance, even if no fee is charged, except where such use would not constitute a copyright infringement or violate any other applicable right.
  • sell, rent, lease, redistribute, transmit, communicate, modify, sublicense, transfer, or assign access to the Game or to Project Stream to any third party.
  • use Project Stream or the Game in conjunction with any stream-ripping, stream capture or similar software to record or create a copy of the Game, except where such use would not constitute a copyright infringement or violate any other applicable right.
  • use the Game as part of any service for sharing, lending or multi-person use.
  • acquire or attempt to acquire more than one Project Stream redemption code.
  • attempt to, or assist, authorize or encourage others to circumvent, disable or defeat any of the security features or components that protect, obfuscate or otherwise restrict access to Project Stream or the Game.
  • use any code or software that enables automated control or operation of the Game.
  • cause disruption to or damage Project Stream for any reason.

Reporting Content. You can find information about reporting content that you believe is abusive, may violate the rights of others, or may violate the law in the Project Stream Help Center.
